How many separate parts does this product really need?

On September 3, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall of approximately 22,660 Baby Sesame Street Elmo Silicone Teethers in the United States, with another approximately 3,177 sold in Canada.

The reason wasn’t the silicone itself.

Product structure matters too.

“Is the material safe?”
